About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and support our growing team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and support continuous employee development.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and workplace health and safety (WHS) standards.
- Maintain HR records, contracts, and policies in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
- Design and deliver staff engagement, retention, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Lead remuneration reviews and assist in workforce planning and budgeting.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related issues and best practices.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR generalist experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, modern awards, and WHS requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in managing HR systems
- Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
