About Your Role
Reporting to the Communications Manager – Workforce & Operations, the Intranet Content Strategist & Coordinator is a full-time, fixed term role responsible for developing creative content strategy, editorial plans and publishing content for Scope’s SharePoint intranet site. The Intranet Content Strategist & Coordinator also has oversight of Information Architecture, User Experience and discoverability for this site.
Your Key Focus
- Develop and lead, under the guidance of the Communications Manager – Workforce & Operations and in consultation with relevant stakeholders, the content strategy and manage the editorial plan for the Scope intranet, and other emergent internal digital channels (such as Viva Engage) as required.
- Ensure the content strategy is data- and user-driven and based on Scope’s goals, user needs, and organisational objectives.
- Employ a variety of environmental scanning and research techniques to identify best practice, understand and analyse online data and provide insights about content, search behaviour, in-page and content-related user behaviour, and identify content gaps, pain points, opportunities, innovations and improvements.
- Define intranet and content migration project plans and work with content owners in the creation of project specifications and timelines.
- Create, curate and publish compelling and engaging content.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of intranet editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks and content migration plans for the intranet.
What We Look For
- A tertiary qualification in communications, web publishing or another related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of content design, layout and governance within an internal communications setting.
- Experience coordinating digital projects and discovery workshops in large, complex organisations.
- Demonstrable experience working with diverse people, teams, groups or coalitions to identify needs and trends and create innovative communications solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent analytical, project management and content writing skills.
