About the Role:
Join Sonder at Edinburgh North and Onkaparinga as an Individual Placement Support (IPS) Program Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and support a team of Employment Specialists to deliver the IPS program, helping young people experiencing mental health challenges transition into meaningful employment or education.
You’ll provide operational supervision, ensuring high-quality, client-centred, and recovery-oriented care. Your role includes maintaining program fidelity, coordinating fidelity reviews with IPS Works, and managing Annual Work Plans in collaboration with the Department of Social Services.
This is a rewarding opportunity to combine leadership and impact—guiding a dedicated team while empowering young people to reach their goals.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience providing supervision or mentoring to team members, with a strengths based approach.
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the employment services sector, Centrelink and other State and Federal employment initiatives that impact vulnerable members of our community.
- Extensive knowledge of issues that impact young people when accessing employment and/or educational opportunities.
- Linkages with employers or networks related to employment of young people
- Demonstrated ability to set, monitor and achieve team goals as well as individual and organisational goals by effectively managing time, prioritising tasks, keeping an updated diary, and ensuring key deadlines are met.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Drivers Licence
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases.
- An appropriate qualification in a relevant field.
