About the role
We have and exciting newly established opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Manager to join our dynamic growing team.

Reporting to the Director, IT - APAC & EMEA you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region’s digital transformation initiatives, ensuring secure and resilient infrastructure across all operations.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Information Technology Infrastructure - To provide and manage Information Technology infrastructure for all APAC bases and locations, encompassing a mix of owned, outsourced and cloud-based facilities and services.
- Information Technology Architecture – Design, construct, deploy and maintain the key components of the overall Information Technology architecture, working with key external providers as necessary. Prepare and maintain diagrams and documents to represent and communicate the technical architecture and the software/hardware components that it comprises.
- Information Technology Support – Provide support level 2 and 3 support to the IT team to resolve infrastructure or technical issues.
- Strategy and Planning – Assist the Director, IT – APAC & EMEA to develop and maintain the APAC strategic plans. Establish IT technical and application architectures for the delivery of information systems across PHI Aviation’s APAC operations.
- Change Management – Manage and co-ordinate changes to IT infrastructure, services and application software.
- Cybersecurity – Function as a key member of PHI’s Cybersecurity Council. Create and implement updated and new security architecture and systems. Foreseeing potential security risks.
- Disaster Recovery – Manage and maintain processes for system and data backups. Maintain and develop the IT Disaster Recovery Plan, including 6 monthly tabletop exercises.
- IT Department 2IC - Act as the Second-In-Command (2IC) to the Director, IT – APAC & EMEA, provide leadership support and operational oversight in their absence. Represent the team in meetings when delegated and provide mentoring and guidance to team members. To develop and maintain Information Technology policies and practices for the management of risks associated with access, mobility, networking, change, breakdowns, disasters, and disposal.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing designing, implementing and supporting complex ICT and IT systems.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and managing virtualised infrastructure and systems, including Windows and Linux virtual machines.
- Proven experience in working with enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Proven working experience with Microsoft Azure and M365 environments.
- Ability to provide level 3 technical support for network, virtualisation, computer and storages systems.
- Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
