Are you up for the challenge?
We are looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Specialist to join our IT team based out of the Flinders Gate office in Melbourne.
In this role you will be part of the Sourcing team responsible for various sourcing activities, contract negotiation and management of IT Suppliers.
About the Role
- Ensure sourcing and procurement guidelines, requirements and policies are followed.
- Manage sourcing activities including RFx.
- Review and negotiate IT contracts.
- Act as a commercial escalation point as required.
- Provide guidance, support and advice around IT supplier and procurement policies, guidelines and frameworks to IT and the wider business.
- Develop relationships with key IT suppliers to drive mutual value whilst ensuring contract compliance.
- Foster a collaborative environment with key IT suppliers, encouraging them to bring forward innovative ideas which can be collaboratively developed.
- Manage the relationship, performance and contracts of key IT suppliers.
- Regularly complete analysis and provide recommendations including spend analysis, opportunity for cost out, supplier consolidation and general sourcing improvements.
About You
Whilst holding relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, commercial, or financial disciplines (or equivalent) is ideal for this position, the key criterion for success is prior experience in IT sourcing processes and practices.
Your broader experience has given you the ability to negotiate and manage complex IT contracts, as well as running go-to market activities such as RFIs and RFPs. Proven experience in building and managing supplier relationships is essential.
You possess strong communication and analytical skills and enjoy working collaboratively, having the ability to foster effective strategic relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally.
