Your New Role
We have a 12-month max-term contract opportunity for a Lead Data Services Process and Fund Integration to join our Data Governance and Capability team. This position will play a pivotal role in uplift initiatives and process improvements relating to the Funds’ current ways of working with Data.
The Lead will report to the Manager, Data Service Process and Fund Integration and work closely with the Data Governance and Capability leadership team, Data Management Domain Principals and other data practitioners to uplift Data Service processes and capabilities whilst also supporting other Data Governance activities.
The role proactively engages stakeholder groups to reach consensus on mature processes, developing associated tools and knowledge assets. Additionally, it collaborates with other lines of business to integrate and align Data Services processes within existing controls frameworks. Achieving success in this role will result in the implementation of efficient and transparent data management practices reflected in Data Governance Policies & Standards.
The role will support business planning efforts in collaboration with senior leadership and BAU teams, and identify and support delivery of short-term vision and uplift initiatives, strategic priorities and opportunities ensuring alignment with the Fund’s 2035 business strategy, Data Strategy and Data Services Roadmap.
What You’ll Need
Comprehensive knowledge of data governance principles, data management standards, and AUS/GDPR data privacy regulations
Proven experience in key data management disciplines such as data risk and controls, metadata management, compliance, privacy & security
Demonstrated experience in operating model process and tools development in relation to data governance and management in the financial services sector
Experience in assessing regulatory compliance requirements and translating those into processes, records of activity and effective controls
Experience in development of policies and standards
High level of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direction
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, setting and managing multiple priorities within specified time frames
Strategic thinking with strong organisation, planning and coordination skills
Proven facilitation skills and capability to manage group dynamics that lead to the negotiation of successful outcomes
Good understanding of change management practices
Demonstrated ability to work with platform teams to develop common understanding of business requirements and document outcomes
Ability to analyse processes to develop improvements, with inputs and support from a range of interested parties and subject matter experts.
