Company Description

Here at EVSE we put our people first. Our talented, dedicated and passionate workforce strive to keep EVSE at the forefront of EV charging since our inception in 2015. Embracing a vision for a sustainable future, we are dedicated to delivering the latest EV charging technology for every household, business and commercial need. At EVSE Australia, we provide turnkey EV charging solutions that make the transition to electric vehicles easy for individuals, fleets, and companies. Our goal is to offer high-quality installations, support and service that makes owning an EV as seamless and stress-free as owning a petrol car.

Job Description

As our Lead Electrician – Service & Maintenance, you’ll be at the heart of EVSE’s national electrical team, keeping Australia’s EV charging network running smoothly. From preventative maintenance and repairs to on-site and remote diagnostics, audits, and technical support, your hands-on expertise will make a real impact.

You’ll also champion safety, quality, and performance standards, while inspiring and leading a talented team of electricians and partners. This role combines technical skill, leadership, and a passion for excellence, perfect for someone ready to drive change in the fast-paced EV industry. As part of your role you will be doing;

Service, Maintenance & Repairs
Lead preventative and reactive maintenance across EVSE’s charging network, including fault diagnosis, repairs, and remote troubleshooting. Ensure service records are maintained and invoicing is accurate.

Team Leadership
Manage and develop a national team of electricians and contractors, setting KPIs and fostering a safety-first, service-focused culture.

Safety & Quality
Oversee safety inspections, quality audits, and compliance with electrical standards. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

Technical Support & Commissioning
Provide advanced technical support, oversee commissioning processes, and assist with software integration as needed.

Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all electrical work meets licensing, certification, and audit requirements. Maintain WHS and contractor compliance records, liaising with regulatory bodies as required.

Process Improvement & Reporting
Drive continuous improvement, monitor performance metrics, and recommend updates to procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

We’re after an experienced electrician who loves keeping things running smoothly and safely. If you’re proactive, organised, and thrive leading technical teams with high accountability in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, this is your chance to make a real impact while driving the future of EV charging. To see you succeed in this role you will have the following;

Essential:
•    NSW Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
•    5+ years in service/field support roles, including supervision or management

•    Strong grasp of WHS legislation, risk assessments, and safe work procedures
•    Excellent communication and leadership skills
•    High level of attention to detail and documentation standards
Desirable:
•    Experience in EV charging, solar, or industrial electrical systems
•    Familiarity with OCPP or other remote energy management platforms
•    CEC accreditation or relevant training
•    Certificate IV in Leadership & Management
•    Audit or inspection experience
