Your Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our growing team. The primary role of the Learning and Development Advisor is to develop, coordinate and lead learning and development initiatives and programs, as well as advise and partner with key stakeholders to contribute to the overall learning and development strategy. Key development programs that you would be leading are the Apprentice Program, Graduate Program and various internal learning and development programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Primero’s Graduate Program and Primero’s Apprentice Program.
  • Identify training needs within the business for white collar roles with an outcome to co-ordinate and implement relevant training programs.
  • Maintain the central learning hub, by managing the learning calendar and events, regularly updating learning news, and updating learning resources when required.
  • Coordinate Primero’s Development Programs, such as Leadership Program, Supervisor Foundation Program.
  • Support the Onboarding process for new employees, including supporting the creation of engaging e-learning modules, creating relevant onboarding material and guides.
  • Manage and coordinate corporate training needs, via business white collar Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and any development requests.
  • Participate in career days and industry events as required.

What You ‘Can Do’

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline such as Learning and Development or Human Resources
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Learning and Development role within an engineering or construction company.
  • Previous experience managing Learning and Development programs and initiatives.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively across all levels, both in written and verbal form.
  • Strong Microsoft skills and computer literacy.
  • A passion for Learning and Development.
  • A curious mindset with a proactive approach to seek knowledge and problem solve.
  • Team focused approach, contributing to a continuous improvement culture.
