Job Description
We're growing our P&C team! With a significant investment in our People & Culture function, we've created multiple new positions.
In this newly created role, the Head of Learning & Capability will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive, data-driven learning and capability strategy and learning experiences across different modalities.
You will also lead a team to architect innovative and scalable learning solutions that directly support employee growth, drive high performance, cultivate an agile and collaborative culture, and enhance organisational effectiveness.

Day to day you will:
- Manage a team of learning and development professionals
- Lead the development and execution of a data-informed and innovative learning and development strategy that aligns with the organisation's strategic goals
- Identify and assess current and future capability needs through data and insights, designing and implementing strategic learning experiences to address them
- Ensure learning experiences are scalable, effective, and align with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
- Cultivate and influence strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Utilise and implement learning technology (e.g., Workday, LMS) to effectively deliver, track, and evaluate learning and compliance programs
- Stay abreast of current L&D trends and research
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and development by promoting opportunities and encouraging employee ownership of their career growth
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing adult learning and development experiences
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective learning solutions using a variety of modalities in large and complex organisations
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform learning strategies, measure program effectiveness, and demonstrate business impact
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies
- Tertiary qualification or degree in HR, OD, or equivalent
