The Role & The Team
We’re seeking a dynamic leader to uplift and empower our P3M (Project, Program & Portfolio Management) community through hands-on leadership, strategic influence, and practical delivery excellence.
Establish and lead a Community of Practice (CoP) to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Develop and embed professional standards for the P3M delivery community.
Contribute to the EPMO Workforce Strategy, aligning sourcing and capability development with organisational needs.
Influence the ASA Workforce Capability Framework, ensuring it reflects evolving project, program, and portfolio delivery capabilities.
Design and deliver capability uplift programs, including training material development and facilitation across the delivery community.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency to enhance delivery outcomes.
Provide consultancy-style support to project teams, working hand-in-hand to embed best practices and uplift delivery maturity.

The Person
Professional qualifications in Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBoK, AgilePM, SCRUM) or Service Delivery (e.g. ITIL).
Desirable: Accreditation in Six Sigma, Lean Management or similar.
10+ years’ experience in complex delivery environments.
Deep understanding of project and program methodologies (e.g. PMBoK, AgilePM, MSP).
Proven experience in capability building, coaching project staff, and delivering training programs.
Demonstrated success in leading change through capability uplift initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.
