The Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to oversee the scheduling, coordination, and optimisation of maintenance activities for our expanding fleet, equipment, and site assets. This role is critical to ensuring that all maintenance tasks are planned efficiently, resources are allocated effectively, and compliance with WHS and quality standards is achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor performance of critical systems and assets, using data to improve reliability.
- Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and suppliers to manage maintenance works.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in operational performance and resource utilisation.
- Ensure all maintenance planning meets safety, compliance, and operational requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, operations coordination, or asset management (civil, construction, transport, or infrastructure sector experience highly regarded).
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance processes.
- Experience liaising with contractors, suppliers, and technical teams.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance systems, incident reporting, and record management.
- Proficiency with MS Office and maintenance/operations software.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
