The Facilities team may be small but are highly motivated and results driven with even higher safety standards. This team work well together with day-to-day coordination and managing the Facilities and also play an essential role in projects, complex problem solving and focus on plant reliability.
About the Role
The Maintenance Planner Facilities is responsible for the planning, scheduling, safe and compliant execution of all site service, maintenance and compliance activities required at our MILVEHCOE facility & other national sites.
This is a critical role in the facilities team as you lead the site maintenance planning function including all mechanical, electrical and general activities on-site. From assessing any problems and upgrades to proactive maintenance, we aim to have all equipment up to its highest standard. With our ever-growing manufacturing plant, we have a continuous focus on the safe function of all items on-site. With the use of our CMMS system, we make sure we keep track of compliance and any relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Maintenance / Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or relevant discipline;
- Experience in a maintenance planner position on a large industrial manufacturing site;
- Significant CMMS experience;
- Significant Safe Access and isolation experience;
- Contractor Management and permit to work experience;
- Excellent understanding of Australian Standards – AS1851 / AS2550 / AS4024;
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
