What’s the role?
As our Manager, Business Controls & Monitoring, you’ll be the go-to advisor on risk and compliance for our Customer & Business Assist team.
This role helps guide decisions that protect our customers and business by building practical controls and helping teams understand risk in everyday operations.
You’ll embed a culture of integrity, support change and projects, and build trust across the organisation while keeping risk management relevant, simple and fit for purpose.
This is a Permanent full-time role based in Adelaide with flexible working arrangements.
What do I need?
We’re looking for someone who brings thoughtful challenge, practical advice, and a strong sense of accountability. You’ll thrive here if you have:
- Experience helping teams manage risk and compliance in operational environments, ideally within banking, consumer products or collections
- Confidence advising on incidents, controls, and regulatory obligations in a way that's clear and actionable
- A knack for simplifying complexity—able to drive good decisions without overengineering the process
- The ability to build trust and influence leadership on risk and compliance matters
- Curiosity and commitment to improving how we assess and manage risk over time
- Comfort working with frameworks, control systems (like JUNO), and preparing teams for audit or assurance processes
