About the opportunity
The Business Manager leads and drives the delivery of high-quality services within the Inclusive Employment Australia framework, ensuring the achievement of sustainable employment outcomes for people with disability. This role is responsible for managing team performance, building strong community and employer partnerships, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards. The Business Manager fosters a positive, inclusive culture that supports staff development, service excellence, and the growth and reputation of the organisation within the local community.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensure each participants’ individual needs and aspirations for employment are at the center of your focus
- Lead by example to foster a culture of empowerment, safety, continuous improvement, and alignment with HELP’s values.
- Maximise contract performance by understanding obligations, meeting targets, and supporting the team to deliver effective strategies.
- Provide operational leadership, supervision, mentoring, and resources to ensure high team performance.
- Promote a strong service culture focused on safe, best-practice disability employment supports and exceptional customer experience.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing practice and service delivery enhancements.
- Contribute to the region’s operational service delivery and business development goals.
- Ensure branches are adequately resourced during peak periods or staff absences.
- Conduct regular staff appraisals, support development, and address any escalated employee issues promptly.
- Manage and resolve escalated customer concerns and complaints, escalating when required.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Support and participate in planning and delivering community engagement events.
This position is Full-Time operating in the following areas: Liverpool, Miller and the wider Liverpool region
The role will commence through October/November
About you:
We are seeking motivated and value driven leader to join our Inclusive Employment Australia division as a Business Manager. Your will have proven experience in fostering a quality team environment as well as managing and driving teams to achieve excellent outcomes for our participants. You will also have the following:
- Ability to supervise and manage the performance of employees across multiple sites
- Understanding of government funded employment programs and an ability to interpret contract requirements
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong business acumen and an ability to work with KPI’s and targets
- Well-developed IT knowledge and experience in Windows and Web based applications
- High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and an ability to share skills and knowledge with others
- Proven effective problem-solving and mediation skills
- Ability to promote a proactive, diverse team and support a positive, inclusive work culture
