THE ROLE

This senior position within the Area structure of Community Operations and Practice Leadership (COPL) Division will apply specialist skills and knowledge in social housing and stakeholder engagement. The position will have a lead role to coordinate site level planning, governance, engagement, projects and correspondence for the high-rise public housing relocation program. This role will focus on public housing high rise sites in North East Melbourne Area and the Hume Merri-Bek Area, including Collingwood, Richmond, Fitzroy, Brunswick and Northcote. The successful candidate will be responsible for joining up functions performed within local housing teams and key business units within Homes Victoria including relocations, asset management, communication and engagement. The role will drive practices that prioritise renter voice and aspires for a seamless relocation experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Lead the development and delivery of site-specific engagement and action plans for the high-rise public housing relocation program.
  • Drive standards and practices that uphold our commitment to renter voice on decisions important to them
  • Establish trusted relationships, communication and engagement channels with renters and community partners that are critical to the program.
