Your Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Operational Policy Integration team, including driving performance and adjusting priorities as required.
Oversee policy and procedure governance including maintenance cycles, templates, approval, publication, and communication processes.
Lead the development of best-practice policies and procedures to support business improvement initiatives in court registries.
Lead discussions with interdepartmental and interagency officers as required, including to resolve matters for decision.
Oversee the provision of high quality secretariat support to the Rules Committee and the development and implementation of Rules amendments.
Lead the development and management of court forms.
Contribute to business planning and lead the delivery of actions that support the CSQ strategic direction.
Participate in interdepartmental and interagency meetings.
Undertake other duties as required.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability:
Manages a team providing effective guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
Detailed knowledge of the justice system and court processes.
Researches and analyses information to distil the key issues and recommend best practice.
Writes and edits concise and accurate correspondence.
Leverages contacts, networks, and negotiates with internal and external stakeholders for beneficial outcomes.
Leads performance in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
Promotes workplace equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion.
