Our Transformation Delivery (TD) team is a key part of the major delivery and transformation work ongoing within the wide range of industries which we support. We know that transformation is complex, it requires results driven capability, people who not only have credibility in program delivery but are also able to think critically and who are committed to helping our clients navigate their way through complexity to success.
We help to design, plan, lead, deliver and assure complex pieces of work for our clients. We also provide real-time and prospective trusted advice to our clients for the life of major programs/projects. This is an exciting and interesting service as we support major programs/projects across the nation in navigating the challenges associated with delivering complex transformation.

Your Opportunity
As a valuable member of our high performing team, you will apply your program, project or portfolio management experience, to initiate and deliver engagements across a variety of sectors.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting KPMG Project Management Office teams ensuring that project planning, execution, dependencies and controls are properly integrated in large and complex transformation projects.
- Bringing together powerful teams from across our firm with deep experience in Transformation Change, Customer Analytics & Design, Risk, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy & Enablement and Financial Management.
- Providing leadership to build the capacity of our delivery teams and integrating capabilities from across the firm, to ensure client engagements are delivered to the highest quality by implementing the right program and project management disciplines.
- Leading either traditional or agile delivery based on your deep practical knowledge of leading methodologies such as Prince2/MSP and Scrum/SAFe.
- Supporting an assurance team provide guidance and confidence to clients on the delivery of their major transformation
How you are Extraordinary?
- You are a project management pro, with a love of big-picture thinking and the skills to see projects from beginning to end; such as establishing project details, performance measurement baselines, key milestones, work breakdown structures, and resource planning.
- You love being part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team and building strong relationships both internally and externally.
- You are able to digest, distil, and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms.
Your Experience
- 3-5 years consulting experience, ideally in a major consulting Firm
- Understanding PMO types and frameworks and how to apply them in the context of different organisations
- Implementing frameworks for program governance, decisions and reporting
- Program/project management capability building
- Foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking and analysis techniques to complex challenges
- Experience in using the latest Portfolio, Program and Project Management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and ways of working
- Enjoy complexity and ambiguity and bringing innovative ideas to solve challenges
- Background and interest in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Portfolio, Program and Project management, including in Agile (desired), Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methods.
- PMO establishment and management
- Project Scheduling
- Ideally, you bring one or several of the following:
- Graduate project or program management qualification.
- Professional certification in methods such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, Managing Successful Programmes or Management of Portfolios.
- Professional certification as a practicing project manager through the Australian Institute of Project Management or the Project Management Institute.
