Job Description
The Role
As a key technical expert within our team, you will work under minimal direction to deliver a broad range of complex and specialised technical tasks that support critical project outcomes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring projects align with overarching strategic goals and organisational priorities.
You will provide high-level specialist technical expertise, guidance, and support to staff involved in design and related functions. Your role will include advising on system and process improvements, offering expert technical solutions, and ensuring that best practices are embedded across all stages of design and project delivery.

Key responsibilities
- Produce detailed Infrastructure designs/consultancies, undertake a range of pre or post design activities within predetermined timeframes to set performance standards and to prescribed compliance standards
- Able to undertake complex Common Station Facilities Design including interfacing with multiple external stakeholders in order to progress the project.
- Build effective relationships with customer and stakeholder groups to allow timely delivery of customer services.
- Good level of knowledge and ability to utilise, interrogate and update various systems, DBoRs, tools and processes in the delivery of designs
- Willing to travel if required.
Essential Experience
- Sound knowledge of CSF/NBN processes and superstructure.
- Understanding of CSF Design Deployment Standards.
- Solid understanding of power equipment and associated systems
- Strong familiarity with legacy infrastructure
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, applying rigorous logic and structured methods to identify effective solutions; investigates thoroughly, identifies underlying issues, and performs objective analysis beyond surface-level symptoms
