Aqualux Lighting is seeking an Office Assistant to join our team and help us deliver outstanding support to our valued customers, staff and stakeholders.

Role Overview:
As an Office Assistant at Aqualux Lighting, you will work closely with our office, sales and engineering teams. Whilst this role is a general office support position there is an emphasis on sales support so you will be expected to build a good working knowledge of our products and services. All training is provided in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication and Reception Duties:
- Answering and directing phone calls: Professionally handling incoming calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email in a timely and professional manner.
- Greeting visitors: Welcoming clients, vendors, and guests, and providing assistance as needed.
- Managing general email inboxes: Ensuring communications reach the necessary departments and responding to general inquiries.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders: Communicating with colleagues, clients, and suppliers via email or telephone to answer questions or provide information
- Assist customers with product information, orders, returns, and other service-related issues.
Internal Support Duties;
- Assist sales team members with day to day activities such as organizing samples, catalogs or return freight labels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.
- Office supplies management: Monitoring inventory levels, ordering new supplies.
- Posting items as needed
Order Processing;
- Help with processing of sales orders and liaising with customers and / or sales staff when needed.
- Help with processing of GRAs / returns and liaising with customers and / or sales staff when needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer / IT skills is a must.
- Previous experience with Google Suite is preferred as is working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of lighting products or the construction / electrical wholesale industry is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
