About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Interpreter to fill a full-time position based at our Lonsdale location. You will be required to use your mechanical and parts knowledge to assist our workshop and customers with their enquiries. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure customers receive up to date information on all products/services over the telephone and through counter sales.
Additional duties
- Provide an outstanding level of customer service to all customers, new and existing
- Handle all parts sales and enquiries
- Process all orders efficiently and accurately
- Prepare detailed quotations for parts supply
- Promote and upsell products
- Adhere to WHS policies and processes
- Work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster
- Previous Parts Interpreter experience, ideally within the heavy vehicle industry
- Qualification in Parts Interpreting preferred, but not essential
- Excellent time management, communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure with a positive outlook in a team environment
- High attention to detail and someone who takes the upmost pride in their work
- Familiarity and proven use of parts inventory systems
- A good mechanical aptitude
- Current drivers’ licence
- A current forklift licence an advantage but not essential
