We’re currently expanding our team and looking for a People & Capability Advisor to join us in delivering quality service to our customers.

Position Available: People & Capability Advisor

Location: Perth Airport

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage incoming and outgoing communications, provide exceptional customer service, and direct administrative activities in the office while learning and growing their experience in the transport and logistics industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide the Centurion Leadership team with coaching and mentoring that fosters a positive, high-performing and safe culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the HR function through effective influencing and collaborative working relationships.
  • Execute HR strategies and operational service delivery across the full suite of HR functions including:
    • Policy & Procedure development / update,
    • Salary Benchmarking & Review,
    • Performance Management,
    • Employee Engagement,
    • Talent Mapping & Succession Planning,
    • Workforce Planning.
  • Provide support, counsel and advice to managers regarding underperformance, misconduct, disciplinary action and dismissals.
  • End to end management of workplace investigations and grievance resolution.
  • Interpret Enterprise Agreements, Awards and Contracts, providing advice to Company stakeholders accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the HR Business Partner in liaising with the Fair Work Commission in relation to unfair dismissal and claims of adverse action, and the relevant paperwork.

Skills and Experience:

  • Substantial experience in a similar position within a fast paced, blue-collar environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Exposure to and experience in case management along with a notable understanding of Modern Awards and Fair Work Act.
  • Proven ability to research and comprehend relevant industrial instruments to provide correct and relevant information and advice to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing sensitive situations during performance management and grievance situations.
  • Analysis of HR data, identifying trends, preparation and presentation of reports.
