About the role:
As a Systems Analyst, you will support the maintenance and enhancement of the university’s people systems and technologies, including PeopleSoft HCM and PageUp. You are responsible for providing systems advice, engaging with system users to understand their needs, and working with colleagues, leaders, and vendors to deliver improvements and solutions that support best practice processes.
As a Systems Analyst, you will:
- Ensure systems and technologies are configured appropriately to deliver an accurate and timely function for the University.
- Provide technical support for people systems and technologies, prioritising issues for first point resolution, escalating complex queries where necessary, and ensuring interactions are effectively tracked and documented.
- Analyse current processes and practices and recommend solutions that can be configured or developed through systems and technologies that will result in an enhanced user experience and more efficient delivery of services.
- Assist in technical development and work with others to develop technical solutions across relevant systems.
- Contribute to the coordination and facilitation of training programs for system users.
- Undertake regular business system access audit and data integrity audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate the administration of business applications and solutions and support key system interfaces.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in the configuration and development of people systems or technologies such as PeopleSoft and PageUp to deliver on functional and technical specifications.
- Experience in working with complex people systems.
