Philanthropic Engagement Coordinator (Part-Time 0.4)
Join Midsumma, Australia’s premier LGBTQIA+ cultural organisation, and help grow the philanthropic support that powers queer artists, communities, and safer spaces.
As our Philanthropic Engagement Coordinator, you’ll build relationships with trusts, foundations, and donors, craft compelling proposals, and deliver funding applications and reports. You’ll manage donor databases, steward long-term partnerships, and work with our Marketing team to align fundraising with Midsumma’s broader storytelling.
We’re looking for someone with experience in philanthropic fundraising, ideally in the arts or community sector, who is a confident communicator, highly organised, and detail-oriented. Knowledge of the Australian NFP/philanthropy sector and CRM systems will be highly regarded, as will a collaborative spirit and commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
This is a part-time 0.4 (October 2025 start, $86,000 + super). Some evening/weekend work will be required during the festival (18 Jan – 8 Feb 2026).
