About the role:
The Polaris Operations Coordinator will support seamless office operations, build, and maintain efficient administrative processes and the creation of organised systems. The role will support the Polaris Team to be prepared for delivering our services and programs including business consultations, workshops, networking events and expos. The role will have responsibility and own the efficient and effective execution of a diversity of admin tasks such as data entry, accounts processing, preparing reports, mail, and correspondence, filing, ordering, and purchasing, proof reading and editing, printing, answering phones and cheerfully engaging with internal and external enquiries. This will include maintaining the Polaris boardroom; training room and meeting rooms tidy, and resources stocked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake a diversity of hands-on administration tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain an organised up-to-date electronic records system.
- Maintain the Polaris Centre office, meeting, and training rooms.
- Some out of hours work.
Skills & Competencies:
- Certificate 4 in Business Administration or higher or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while upholding professionalism and quality service standards
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, & TEAMS
