The Polaris Team works with people interested in the idea of a business (intenders), start-ups, micro, small, medium, and large-sized businesses helping them change their lives as they bring their business visions into reality. About the Role:
The Polaris Programs Coordinator will coordinate the Polaris Entrepreneurship Program (The PEP) and the Polaris Business Fundamentals Program - including matching business owners to Polaris Business Mentors. The Polaris Programs Coordinator will assess the needs of mentoring clients and allocate Polaris Specialist Business Consultants including referrals to internal and external business advisory partners. The role will have responsibility for collecting, evaluating, collating and reporting participation, outcomes and impact data.
To be successful within this role, you will have:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills with a can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn internal systems (e.g., Objective, FinanceOne, Pathway, Dataworks) and external platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Facebook, CRM tools)
- Diploma in Project Management, Business, Economics or higher is desirable.
