About us:
The Quality and Safety Unit covers all facilities within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). Central Queensland Health (CQ Health) provides public health services across Central Queensland, in hospitals and in the community. CQ Health is a statutory body governed by our Board. We serve a growing population of approximately 250,000 people and employ more than 3,700 staff, treating more than 700,000 patients each year. The health service has a diverse geographic footprint, ranging from regional cities to remote townships in the west and beachside communities along the coast.
About the role:
Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide best practice clinical governance in the relevant CQHHS work area.
Leads the coordination of QSR Business Unit Partners approach to the development, implementation and evaluation of a quality and safety plan, relevant National standards and associated policies.
Collaborates with the Director Quality and Safety to coordinate CQHHS-wide activities to move the organisation towards a successful accreditation outcome.
Coordinates in collaboration with Quality and Safety Practice Leaders a clinical accreditation preparedness audit program for all specialty clinical areas in collaboration with the medical services area across the CQHHS.
Assists the Director Quality and Safety for facilitation of regular reporting to Executive groups and relevant Health Service Safety and Quality forums on RCA progress and outcomes for patient safety activities.
About you:
The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual nursing practicing certificate Division one is essential.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $13,684 p.m is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
