Key outcomes:
In the role of Principal Injury Management Advisor, you will provide specialist case management including complex rehabilitation cases. You will develop and deliver education on WorkCover and rehabilitation practices and processes for managers to enable them to gain awareness and understanding of the QBCC claims management, rehabilitation and reasonable adjustments policy and procedure. You will assist them in meeting their legislative/regulatory obligations and enhance their capability in rehabilitation, early intervention and return to work management.
You will also provide guidance and support to the WHS team in respect to claims management and rehabilitation matters.

Candidate Attributes
Demonstrated experience in case management and injury rehabilitation.
Demonstrated experience in dealing with complex and high volume case management services in a complex and evolving environment - including responses to WorkCover.
Demonstrated experience in Common Law and Crown Law: - liaising with external legal organisations regarding common law damages claims and representing at mediation conferences.
Demonstrated experience in the drafting of complex documents such as submissions related to workers' compensation legislation.
Highly Desirable
A formal qualification in Case Management (Personal Injury), Allied Health or Workplace Health and Safety.
