Base Salary (HEO8) $126,065 - $142,171 plus 17% superannuation

The University of Sydney Law School is establishing a new L aw Student Engagement Unit to foster a more connected, inclusive, and supportive student experience. We are inviting applications for the role of Program Manager, Law Student Engagement and Success .
As a key member of the new unit and reporting to the School General Manager, the Program Manager will lead the development and implementation of a pilot program to strengthen student belonging, enhance academic and personal success, and promote wellbeing across the Law School community.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
develop and implement pilot program aimed at designing and delivering impactful, student-focused initiatives and activities
lead the delivery of welcome programs, networking events, student celebrations, and peer support initiatives that build an inclusive and connected student community
work closely with the Law School Executive, program officers, and student body to deliver tailored digital content that drives engagement, promotes opportunities, and celebrates student success
coordinate initiatives that support academic success beyond the classroom, including online resources, skills workshops, and targeted support for high-challenge units.
About you
tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience in student engagement and higher education administration is desirable
proven experience in designing and delivering impactful programs and initiatives within complex environments such as universities, government, or large corporates
demonstrated leadership of professional teams, including responsibility for performance management and service delivery outcomes
high level written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, content management systems, and digital platforms
Demonstrated relationship management skills with a strong focus on engagement and inclusion.
Please note: This Fixed term role is funded through Student Driven Resourcing (SDR) under clause 38(e) of the University of Sydney Enterprise Agreement 2023–2026 ‘ to work in an academic unit where there is a sudden unanticipated increase in enrolments in which case Fixed Term employment may be offered for up to three years’.
