Primary objective
The Project Coordinator provides a high level of administrative support to the Clinical Learning, Education and Research Services (CLEaRS) -Aged
Care Team to support the Confident Care in Aged Care initiative. This new project seeks to design, manage and implement codesigned learning
packages for clinicians and support workers who care for our Older Australians.
Context statement
The preferred applicant will have knowledge of/experience across diverse healthcare settings or an extensive understanding of NT Health process
and systems. The applicant will be able to liaise with internal and external key stakeholders in the pursuit of quality care of the Older Australian
living in the northern Territory.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide high-level administrative support to the (CLEaRS) Aged Care Team, including daily administrative duties, researching and collating
information, preparing and collating correspondence and conveying information in plain English.
2. Responsible for procurement and submission of invoices to accounts payable as directed by the CLEaRS NEC Aged Care and for
stationary/equipment/office maintenance and procurement using Electronic Invoice Management System, stock and stores orders and
maintenance requests.
3. Develop and maintain administration systems, record management, monitoring generic email account and ensuring effective administrative
workflow.
4. Assist or take primary responsibility for the co-ordination of education and training programs including maintenance of electronic records of
course attendance and ensure timely training data entry to various systems.
5. Provide expert technical support to program presenters for all digital equipment and systems used within presentations.
6. Monitor and coordinate data sets, data integration, analysis, monitoring and maintaining dashboards to meet key reporting periods for all
stakeholders.
7. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high
quality, safe services and workplaces
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Excellent personal and interpersonal skills to be able to interact across a range of disciplines and, a proven ability to effectively communicate
a range of complex topics, issues and responses to a diverse range of people, utilising both high quality written skills including formal reports
and strong customer services experience.
2. Ability to support IT systems, including ability to understand, interpret and learn new technologies.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment to ensure timely project completion.
4. Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems using strong conceptual and analytical skills, with a focus on improving, streamlining, and
optimising processes.
5. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and innovative, with a willingness to undertake other duties to support team objectives.
6. Awareness of multicultural issues and an ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
