About the Role:
As the Project Manager for our supply chain network design, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of this project from inception to operational efficiency. You will oversee the project, coordinate various functions, manage the transition period with a focus on inventory management, and drive continuous process improvement. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning our operations with internal policies and seamlessly transitioning our 3PL network.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Provide full governance over the network design project.
- Coordinate and oversee all functions throughout the project phases.
- Ensure the project's successful completion within the planned scope and timeline while minimizing operational disruptions.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary contact for all project-related streams.
- Drive and track project tasks, ensuring accountability and progress.
- Prepare and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and local policies.
3. Process Improvement:
- Review reports and dashboards to evaluate project performance.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement strategies to drive process efficiency improvements.
4. Supply Chain Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure seamless project deployment.
- Align project activities with internal policies and procedures.
5. Inventory Management:
- Manage the transition between the current and future 3PL network, ensuring a smooth and efficient handover.
- Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage.
Who we are looking for:
You will have proven experience as a Project Manager in Supply chain with warehouse / network development or similar projects and strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. As you will be managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, while also being able to work independently.
Finally, you will have a deep knowledge of Supply Chain focusing on Primary Freight / Secondary Freight logistics to be successful.
