Are you looking for to make a difference in the lives of Victoria's children? The Project Officer, CIS Practice Improvement provides project management support services for the implementation of the Victorian Government's Child Information Sharing Reforms, with a particular focus on embedding practice change with professionals.
About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The Victorian Child Information Sharing Division sits within Early Childhood Education group. The division leads Victoria's Child Information Sharing reforms, including the Child Information Sharing Scheme and Child Link, to promote child wellbeing and safety. The division contributes to implementation and change management activities for the early childhood system reforms, including measuring attendance of children at kindergarten to support the roll-out of the Best Start, Best Life Reforms.
About the Role
The Service Delivery Advisor (Project Officer) provides project management support services for the implementation of the Victorian Government's Child Information Sharing Reforms, with a particular focus on embedding practice change with professionals.

Attributes
To be successful in this role you will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communications skills and sound project management experience. An understanding of the Information Sharing and MARAM reforms and Child Link, is also highly relevant.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Key areas of focus include a number of the following:
  • preparing regular project reporting documentation and communications
  • keeping accurate records of key decisions/advice and project tracking
  • stakeholder management, planning and coordination
  • coordination and input to briefs and papers for relevant governance meetings and ministerial briefs
  • data collection and reporting
  • support for presentations, training and practice improvement resources
  • support the Manager with any other tasks as required.
The position will also work collaboratively across teams in the CIS Practice and Support Branch and with teams in other Branches in the Victorian Child Information Sharing Division and the broader Department to ensure work is aligned and to create a positive and productive work culture.
