Raging Waters Sydney - Admissions Team Member
About the role:
Admissions Team Member is a guest facing role which ensures all guests entering Raging Waters Sydney enter with ease and exceptional guest service.This position welcomes guests to the park and delivers accurate information about park attractions and facilities to enhance the guest experience upon entry. The position is responsible for processing season passes, tickets and upselling park products and services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Welcome Guests in a friendly and professional manner and bid all guests leaving the park a fond farewell.- Provide a high standard of guest service within the Season Pass Centre, Ticketing, carpark ticketing & Front Gate Pods.
- Engage with all guests as individuals and listen attentively to their requests.
- Ensure all guests flow through the front entry as efficiently as possible to maintain the highest quality guest service throughout the admission process.
- Ensure correct admission fee is collected from all guests and passes are issued accordingly to maintain the highest quality guest experience and to maximise revenue.
- Ensure transactions are processed correctly, and passes are issued accordingly.
- Assist guests at main gates to scan their bands and tickets correctly and ensure that all guests entering have a valid code.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current ticketing options both in-park and online and distribute promotional flyers as required.
- Ensure efficiency with turnstiles so guests can enter and exit the park with ease.
- Ensure ticket booth and turnstile areas are re-stocked at the end of each shift, to prepare for the following day.
- Assist in other areas associated as required, including the upgrade booth and annual pass processing, to ensure these areas operate as efficiently as possible.
- Proactively anticipate, listen to guest’s needs, concerns, and act appropriately to resolve any issues in a timely manner within company policy and/or know when to seek assistance.
- Assist guests with Locker enquires.
- Immediately turn in all lost and found to guest services.
- Maintaining a strong park knowledge.
- Ensure all offices and desks are kept clean and clear of clutter.
- Carry out stock control activities as directed.
- Complete all administration tasks as required.
- Assist other areas within the as the park when needed.
- Responsible for assisting with area cleanliness including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, emptying bins, maintaining birthday & cabana areas and work areas.
- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Admissions Team Leader, Admissions Coordinator, Director of Operations, or member of the Management Team.
Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):
- Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment.
- Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
- Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
- Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
- Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.

Experience:

- Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season.

Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only.
You are required to have a high level of physical fitness and stamina and be physically fit. Physical requirements include but are not limited to walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling squatting, sitting, standing, twisting and repetitious movements.
Team member benefits:
This is a casual position from October to April, with the need to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season.
Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season 15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026.
The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.
Admissions Team Members aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 2 hourly rate of $25.85 per hour plus 25% casual loading ($32.31 per hour includes casual loading).
- Different rates apply for applicants 19 years of age and under.
- Penalty rates apply for Sundays and Public Holidays.
