Salary – $113,574 - $125,719 pa plus superannuation and leave loading
Your role
Support the delivery of restorative justice services by providing trauma-informed support to victims of crime, offenders, and their support networks. Coordinate and manage restorative justice processes with sensitivity, professionalism, and evidence-based practice, ensuring respectful and timely engagement for all participants.
What you’ll do
As the Restorative Justice Facilitator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Facilitate and coordinate restorative justice conferences and interventions, ensuring they align with participant needs, policies, and best practice
- Provide trauma-informed advice, support, and information to victims, offenders, and their support networks, including referrals to relevant services
- Offer expert guidance to staff and managers on restorative justice principles, ensuring respectful, compassionate service delivery
- Balance the needs and rights of victims, offenders, the community, and the department with sensitivity and professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality and apply high emotional intelligence when managing sensitive matters and diverse participant needs
- Promote restorative justice across the agency and support ongoing referrals through engagement and outreach
- Prepare clear, concise reports, briefings, and documentation to support service delivery and program development.
