Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Risk, Quality & Compliance Officer to join our team on either a full time or part time basis. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring our fertility clinic operates within the required legal, ethical, and professional frameworks. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our quality management systems, managing clinical and operational risks, and ensuring ongoing compliance with industry regulations such as NATA, RTAC and ISO 9001.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and implement Genea’s Quality Management System (QMS) to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant industry standards and accreditations, including RTAC and ISO 9001.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and oversee Genea’s incident management software system, working closely with internal teams to investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
- Prepare for and actively participate in governance meetings, including analysing and reporting on quality metrics, trends, and risk indicators.
- Design and deliver engaging training focused on quality and compliance best practices.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and accountability.
- Coordinate and support external audits conducted by regulators or certifying bodies, including liaising with relevant departments to ensure readiness and compliance.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering safe and high-quality patient care.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in a quality, risk, or compliance role.
- Familiarity with RTAC Code of Practice , ISO 15189 and NATA is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and a steadfast commitment to patient safety.
