The purpose of Risk & Legal is to help our business partners succeed via valued risk and compliance advice, whilst safeguarding UniSuper through effective controls assurance and oversight.
The opportunity
This role sits within the Enterprise Risk team and is responsible for developing and managing the content of regular risk reporting to the Board, Committees, and Executive Leadership Team, as well as managing the completion of specific Risk & Assurance initiatives. You will play a key role in fostering a risk-aware culture and promoting informed decision-making across the business.
Your key objectives will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders (Risk Data Analysts, Line 1 Risk Managers, Risk Advisory Managers) to source and standardise content for risk reporting.
- Delivering timely, relevant, and accurate risk reporting to senior forums and providing deep dive insights and themes.
- Uplifting reporting quality and efficiency through automation, data quality improvements, and GRC system enhancements.
- Managing the GRC system vendor (RADAR and Protecht), guiding system strategy and administration, and ensuring data integrity.
- Supporting the maintenance of Risk and Assurance policies.
- Project managing specific initiatives, including designing artefacts, tracking progress, and reporting on milestones and compliance.
About you

For this reason, we are looking for someone who has experience working in a fast-moving transformation environment and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.

- Attention to detail in assessing data quality and identifying insights.
- Strong risk and project management experience, ideally in superannuation or financial services.
- Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework governing superannuation and funds management.
