About the Role

As the Manager, Risk and Resilience, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering expert risk management and business continuity services across the Department. Reporting to the Director, Governance and Risk, you will play a key role in embedding a strong risk culture through the coordination of risk workshops, training, and reporting—while ensuring critical business functions are protected during disruptions.

  • Confidence in leading stakeholder engagement, consultations, and negotiations—particularly in complex or high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, legislation, and public sector policy in risk and resilience.
  • A strategic mindset, supported by sound judgement and a commitment to embedding a proactive risk culture across all levels of an organisation.
