• An exciting opportunity to work in the Emergency Management Victoria, State Control Centre, as an SCC Operations Support Officer
• Full time, Fixed term until April 2026
• Attractive VPS 3 salary between $79,122 - $96,073 + superannuation

• Support the implementation of the SCC operational business systems and processes
• Ensure the effective agency communication flows to internal and external stakeholders. This involves extensive use of phone, SMS, email, internet and agency applications as appropriate
• Provide SCC administrative support to ensure the operational functions of the SCC are in accordance with requirements and are delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
• Arrange, prepare and assist in the delivery of briefings, reports, meetings and presentations including visual and electronic displays to a wide range of stakeholders
• Maintain effective record keeping in accordance with each agency's procedures and legislative requirements

• Knowledge of Victoria's emergency management arrangements is desirable;
• Understanding of the State's Command and Control arrangements that operate within Victoria is desirable;
• Experience with coordination within emergency management activities is desirable
