About the role

As the Waitlist Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the efficient scheduling of elective surgeries and ensuring patient care remains at the centre of all we do.

A typical week will see you:

  • Supporting the Waitlist Co-ordinator and collaborating with the wider admissions team

What we offer:

  • Thorough onsite induction and team mentoring
  • Offsite training in patient management systems and scheduling tools
  • A stable role in a collaborative team that celebrates reliability, initiative, and mutual support
  • If you're ready to use your organisational and interpersonal skills in a role that directly contributes to improving patient outcomes, this position could be the perfect fit.

About you

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have previous experience in waitlist management or hospital admissions
  • Are reliable, honest, and hardworking
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and clinicians
  • Adapt easily to changing workloads and shifting priorities
  • Work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • While experience in a hospital setting is essential, we’ll support your success in this role with hands-on training and ongoing mentoring.

If you're looking to advance your career in healthcare administration and become part of a supportive and values-driven team, we’d love to hear from you.
