As a Scheduling Officer, you will be a vital part of our Service Delivery team, ensuring the effective and efficient rostering of our support workforce. Your work will directly support our participants' goals, helping to ensure they receive timely, consistent, and person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain rosters that reflect participant needs and worker capacity
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, and staff
- Respond quickly to ad hoc changes and update schedules accordingly
- Ensure compliance with relevant Awards and agreements
- Liaise with other Scheduling Officers to meet daily and monthly workforce needs
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and assist with data collection
- Participate in the after-hours On-Call roster (as required)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative or scheduling role (min. 1 year)
- Experience with rostering systems such as CareMaster or similar
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and IT skills
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- A respectful and collaborative team player with a commitment to our values
- Current Driver’s Licence is essential
Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate in Administration, Business Studies, or Community Services
- Experience in the disability or community services sector
