About the Role
As our Service Manager, you will guide a diverse team, including Registered Nurses, care staff, allied health professionals, support staff, external healthcare providers, and volunteers, fostering a culture aligned with our mission and values.
You will also:
- Implement and maintain contemporary clinical practices, ensuring high standards of residential care and lifestyle programs that meet or exceed resident needs.
- Oversee daily activities to maximize efficiency, maintain safety for residents, staff, and visitors, and ensure the facility meets accreditation standards
- Achieve financial and operational targets, including budget management and resource allocation, to support the sustainability of the service.
- Develop relationships within the local community to drive and maintain occupancy, enhancing the facility's reputation and integration.
About You
You are an experienced Service manager with a background in residential aged care and have managed large teams of 170+ staff. You have a strong understanding of aged care quality standards, incident investigation and complaints management.
To be successful in this role, you will also have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or other clinical professional with AHPRA, or postgraduate qualifications in health or business administration.
- At least 5 years of post-graduate experience, with recent management experience in aged care or health administration, demonstrating competency in operational planning, strategic thinking, and budget management.
- Strong leadership and management abilities, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- A dedication to continuous improvement, safety, legislative compliance, and the mission and values of Churches of Christ.
- Current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Current driver’s licence, National Personal Insolvency Check or ability to obtain.
