Showroom Sales Representative

We have an exciting opportunity at our Mitchell office for a motivated and driven Full Time Showroom Sales Consultant. You will play a pivotal role in growing the business’ client base.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Develop plans to grow the Harvey Norman Commercial business across the NSW market.
• Work with key division Managers to strategically identify and develop plumbing business targets
• Source sales and business opportunities
• Develop, implement and maintain a customer relations program
• Analyse market needs and trends to identify potential new business.
• Establish and maintain contact with new and existing clients, and commercial customers on a regular basis
• Weekly and monthly reporting with business activities

The successful applicant will possess:

• Sound experience in a sales capacity with a desire to build clientele and drive sales
• Knowledge of the commercial trade will be beneficial but is not essential if you have a desire and passion to learn about the industry
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with people on all levels
• Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
• Thorough attention to detail
• Superior data entry accuracy with a key eye for detail
• A team player who can also work well unsupervised
• Punctuality and work commitment
• Intermediate computer skills especially Excel
• Problem solving and the ability to think on your feet
• The ability to think outside the square
