The 24 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit has a focus on neurorehabilitation. The 43 bed Sub Acute Care Unit (SACU) is shared with the Geriatric Department and provides general rehabilitation. Inpatient rehabilitation is supported by the Day Rehabilitation Service and Community Based Rehabilitation Service.
The Day Rehabilitation Service operates out of SACU which coordinates the multidisciplinary therapy and outpatient review of rehab patients. Community Based Rehabilitation is delivered in conjunction with a private community provider. Currently, specialist clinics include General Rehabilitation, Outreach, Hypertonicity, Interim and Definitive Prosthetics, Multidisciplinary Spinal, Orthopaedic Footwear and Telehealth.

Salary range: $100.78 to $127.77 p.h. (L18-L27)

Requirements:
Specialist Registration You will hold specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitiation Medicine.
Travel: this position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within the THHS.
This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
