YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Due to exciting growth in the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic Storeperson to join our high performing and close knit team based in Mt Gambier SA!
In this key role you'll be primarily working within the warehouse and supporting the trade store where needed.
The purpose of this role is to provide functional support across key activities in receive, pick, pack and dispatch goods against the business and supplier documentation, and complete other warehouse related duties such as forklift operations as required.
We are looking for a hard working all rounder who is happy to get stuck in and help the team as needed across a variety of functions.
Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders (freight management)
- All forklift operations in the warehouse
- Receiving, labelling and storing of incoming goods
- Conducting sorting, loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and displayed
- Assisting on the trade store counter and general housekeeping duties
- Data entry of customer information and orders
To be successful, you will have:
- Proven experience in a trade store, retail, or warehouse environment
- Friendly and well-developed customer service skills, with a ‘customer first’ approach
- Excellent time management capabilities, and clear verbal/written communication
- Proactive and motivated problem solver, and has a team player mentality
- Good computer and MS Office skills (experience using RF devices a bonus)
- A desire to develop and grow your career with us
- Forklift licence and experience essential
Standard working hours for this role are 7.30am to 3.30pm with potential variations depending on business needs.
