About Cadia
Our Cadia Valley Operation in New South Wales is situated about 25 kilometers from Orange and 250 kilometers west of Sydney. Cadia produces gold doré bars from a gravity circuit and gold-rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit. The operation includes the Cadia East Mine which is globally renowned for its use of block caving, a large-scale underground mining method.

Who we’re looking for
The Superintendent – Final Product will provide strong leadership across Australia’s only molybdenum processing plant and dewatering facility, overseeing short, medium and long-term optimisation projects and guiding daily operations.
Reporting to the Manager – Process Operations, you will be responsible for both strategic development and hands-on plant performance.The Superintendent will confidently drive improvements in safety, cost, and operational performance. They will excel as a strategic thinker and clear communicator, building strong relationships and inspiring stakeholders at all levels.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of technical professionals and operators (direct and indirect reports).
- Drive plant performance through process optimisation, cost-efficiency initiatives and innovation.
- Coordinate production forecasting, modelling, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Maintain high standards of safety, culture, and technical excellence.
- Deliver business improvement projects, from design to execution.
- Liaise with rail and port services for transport, sale and marketing of concentrate.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, suppliers and technical teams.
You will also possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering
- Significant experience in mineral processing, especially flotation
- Chartered Professional (AusIMM) or SME membership highly desirable
