Ferngrove Pharmaceuticals Australia is a licensed Contract Manufacturing facility, specializing in complementary medicines and health food products. The company is looking for an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to join us in our head office on a permanent full-time basis.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing the company's overall supply chain, logistics strategy and operations, and inventory, ensuring the efficient distribution of our products from suppliers to consumers. The candidates will be performing the below mentioned duties.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and implement distribution strategies that align with the company’s goals and market demands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality and sustainable sourcing.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels for production and distribution.
- Manage logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to distributors, retailers, and customers.
- Facilitate smooth cross-functional communication and coordination to address any supply chain issues. Lead a team of supply chain and optimize team performance.
- Analyse supply chain performance, generate reports for senior management for decision making, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor degree or higher.
- 3+ years’ experience in similar role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and distribution strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- An ability to think laterally in approaching a problem.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Mandarin speaking is preferred.
