The Role:
As a Support Worker/Carer in Palmyra, WA you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
Our client in Palmyra is looking for a Support Worker to assist with companion care for the below shifts.
9am-11am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
5pm-7pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays
9am-3pm on Saturdays (once per month)
We are looking for someone that is patient and resilient who has experience with clients that exhibit challenging behaviours. Must have experience with clients living with schizophrenia.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Must be proficient in reading and writing in English
- Must be available Monday to Friday 7am-9am.
