The Candidate:
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist a client with dementia and vision impairment. The role includes personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and domestic assistance. The client also experiences hallucinations, so following the care plan to provide calm and reassurance is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Personal care and mobility support
- Companionship and emotional reassurance
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Implement strategies during hallucinations
- Monitor and report changes in condition
The Role:
As a Support Worker/Carer to work in Longueville NSW 2066, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities. This role requires 24 hours of work per week.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Availability for overnight shifts during the week and weekends
- Experienced in disability support
- Manual handling
