Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and arranging tables;
- Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists.
- Recommending dishes and wines to complement food (particularly in fine-dining establishments).
- Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serving food and beverages.
- Opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar.
- Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen.
- Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses.
- Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers.
About You:
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House), or
equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in similar roles
- At least 18 months’ relevant work experience in Australia on a temporary visa
- Experience in a busy cocktail bar
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, whisky, wine and food
- A passion for hospitality and a desire to further your career in this industry
- An engaging personality and warmth that staff and customers gravitate towards
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Well-presented candidates with a professional attitude

Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
