They are looking for an experienced WHS Assurance Coordinator to join their team on a permanent part-time basis.

Reporting to the General Manager Sustainability & Risk, this is a hands-on role working collaboratively with asset operations teams to provide advice and support. Your responsibilities may include:
- Ensuring the WHS system meets statutory requirements
- Develop and undertake, in collaboration with asset management teams, risk assessment activities, and assurance audits relating to WHS, Food Safety, and Fire Safety.
- Undertake scheduled reviews, site visits and assessments of key WHS activities across the business and recommend areas of improvement.
- Provide hands-on support for incident investigations, hazard management, and corrective actions.
- Champion WHS best practices and collaborate with teams to enhance workplace safety.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with legislation, regulations, and operational agreements.
- Ensure timely reporting to meet required compliance and WHS reporting obligations for the organisation and its assets
- Provide support in relation to the administration, identification, measurement, control and review of operational risk registers, alongside recommending escalations to enterprise risks - ensuring risks are fit-for-purpose and integrated as part of day-to-day operations and strategies.

- Proven experience in development and deployment of WHS policies, systems and programs
- Proven experience in supporting assurances programs relating to WHS
- Degree or Diploma in WHS or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in incident management and investigations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence key service providers, and internal stakeholders
