We are seeking an experienced rostering guru to join our rostering team in our office space in our Ashmore Care home Ashmore aged care home | Gold Coast
Reporting to the Workforce Optimisation Manager, the Workforce Optimisation Coordinator will create and manage master and rolled rosters for a group of Residential Aged Care sites across the Infinite Care group to ensure resident services are staffed to achieve the highest standards of client care whilst adhering to Infinite Care Values, Policies and Procedures. You will lead a team of casual employees in a specified casual cluster.
The position will be based full time at our facility in Ashmore on the Gold Coast. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
The role:
Act as the first point of contact for employee rostering queries
- Assist the Workforce Optimisation Manager in the identification of staffing requirements by identifying roster and/or skills deficiencies
- Conduct one on one training and mentoring to roster managers with the aim of building rostering capability and efficient rostering practices across the Organisation
- Accurately develop and maintain site rosters in line with workforce establishments, site preferences, employee preferences, workforce staffing guidelines, budgets, and cost efficiencies
- Monitor rostering allocations to ensure adherence to industrial instruments and to align with contractual and legislative requirements
- Be the first point of contact for employee enquiries regarding master and rolled roster changes, communicating updates to relevant stakeholders
- Utilise Humanforce for the purpose of rostering, escalating any system issues to the Workforce Optimisation Manager as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety policies, ensuring roster hours are aligned with industrial agreements and employee well-being
About You
You are client focused and have demonstrated experience in rostering, and you communicate efficiently, providing prompt and professional customer service, as well as being flexible and adaptable to change.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Proven ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively and set priorities
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel and databases
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience using rostering software
- Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
While demonstrated experience in an aged care setting is not mandatory, experience with residential aged care rostering will be highly regarded.
